With Grateful Hearts

With grateful hearts, we thank the Lord for those who support and pray for Exodus House. Every donation allows us another day to walk with a slew of children and parents.  Each day presents itself with new challenges and another opportunity to walk by faith as sowing in to the hearts of others requires the diligence and the patience of a farmer.
We try to be aware of the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of the kids. As Peru approaches summer time, little visitors begin to hatch out like locusts in the heads of many. Flora, one of our ladies who works with the ministry, has been busy all week long going through head after head. We are thankful to have plenty of lice shampoo and thanks to our mission teams; we have gone through about five bottles this week, with some girls being treated twice!
Taking the opportunity to go through a child’s head is a beautiful way to show our love for them. So today, we begin another day, with grateful hearts praising the Lord for the blessing to serve another day in Peru because of the ones the Lord has moved to give and pray for us.
17″ And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”  Colossians 3:17
